On average one will be born with 80,000 to 120,000 hair follicles on your scalp and everyday you lose 100 to 150 hair strands as a healthy part of the hair cycle. People with thicker hair tend to grow more longer hair than people with thinner hair. It is always a good idea to know your hair so that you can know pitfalls you're going to face during your hair growth journey.

Our hair grows up to six inches on average per year. Our hair go through four stages; anagen, catagen, telogen and exogen. Anagen is the growth phase for hair, at any given time 85 to 90 percent our hair is at this phase. The second stage is catagen phase which is characterized by slowing down of hair growth and cutting blood supply to the hair strand. Telogen phase is the third one where the hair is at its resting stage, our hair strands that are in this stage are 10 to 15 percent at any given time. Lastly the hair sheds at exogen phase, the hair falls of the hair follicle allowing for new strand to grow.

There are other factors that can reduce or even inhibit hair grow for example

  7. At this stage you can add your plant extracts, bamboo extract and horsetail extract, drop by drop and continue to mix till all extracts are well-blend in.

  8. At last you can take your mixture from the bowl and pour it into your designated bottle of your choice.
