Deep hair conditioners are very different from regular hair conditioners. If you just doing a regular haircare routine of shampooing, conditioning, oiling and styling the rinse out conditioners can do the job. But what if your hair faces more concerns and rinse out normal hair conditioners do not work? Then deep hair conditioners come into play. Many normal hair conditioners cannot tackle hair issues like
Dandruff
flaky and dry scalp
product buildup
sebum overproduction on the scalp
hair dullness
hair mushiness and
hair breakage
This problems become too overwhelming for a normal rinse out conditioner to solve due to its limitation based on the formulation.
Deep Hair Conditioners
Enter the deep hair conditioners. Deep hair conditioners are formulated to deal with various hair and scalp issues that a normal hair conditioner can never cater to. Deep hair conditioner can repair damaged hair cuticles, restore hair shine, reduce hair loss and hair breakage, promote hair growth and smoothen hair cuticles to name a few.
Many deep conditioners contain vitamins, anti-oxidants, polyphenols and peptides that can revitalize hair strands and make them stronger. They are usually left on hair for 15 to 30 minutes depending on formulation while wearing a heating cap or simply covering the hair to create heat, this can give the deep conditioner ample time to penetrate the scalp and hair strands, that's why its called deep for this reason!
Deep conditioner can reduce chances of hair brittleness. If you chemically process your hair with perm, relaxers and Brazilian keratin treatment or simply color-tread your hair then you can benefit from deep conditioners a lot since they can restore moisture and protein.
