Discover a simple recipe for a homemade hair serum that can significantly boost hair growth. With just a few ingredients and some determination, you can create your own effective hair growth serum at home.

Most of the times, many individuals won't consider having a hair serum even though they might be struggling with hair growth. Instead they will focus most of their time and energy into finding exotic plant oils and extracts that will help their hair grow longer. This is the reason for the most part when you walk down a haircare aisle you are more like to find tens of hair growth oils and less of hair growth tonic or other hair category addressing this particular issue.
Why Your Hair Isn't Growing?
Well before we continue one should always know that healthy hair is more better than having long hair that is dull, thin, has split ends and contains sorts of hair issues. One should also keep in mind that hair serums or other hair products are not miracle fix-all for hair growth, most of the time hair length retention is the elephant in the room to be addressed. These are some of the reasons your hair growth is stunted
Poor nutrition and deficiencies: This is true for most people with hair growth issues. If you lack proper nutrition to meet your bodily needs then your hair growth is going to be stunted. The body will use all its nutrients from the food for vital bodily activities first before taking care of your hair. Eating more proteins, vitamin A, E,C biotin, folic acid and minerals like iron can improve hair growth. Supplement if necessary, consider doing a blood work to see if you have any deficiencies and always check with your doctor before supplementing.
Lack of proper haircare: If you don't have any consistent haircare routine then you won't be able to see any hair growth or length retention. Neglecting your hair or doing things that damage your hair like chemical treatments, using heating tools on your hair for so long and tight hairstyling can leave you hair weak, shedding and breaking.
Using wrong hair products for your hair type: If don't know your hair type, hair porosity, hair density or hair growth pattern then growing long hair won't be easy. Each hair from different head has different needs. Educating yourself about your hair will make you know which hair products to buy to deal with hair problems you're facing.
Chronic illness and other health issues: For those with certain health issues or certain medication, growing hair can be just a dream and not a reality. If an individual is diagnosed with cancer and undergoes chemotherapy and radio therapy then it can be difficult to grow hair. Consult with your doctor if you have a chronic illness that may hinder hair growth. Always remember that good health comes before hair.
Genetics: Sometimes you've done all the things and still your hair seems to not grow, actually it is growing at a more slower pace than other's hair, it can be frustrating but its going to take time and sometimes you may not be able to grow your hair down your bum but healthy hair is more important to have than longer unhealthy one. There are many ways you can style and take care of your short hair!
