Ways to Make Simple DIY Laundry Soap
Simple DIY Powdered Soap
Ingredients
1 cup of mild bar soap
2 cups of borax
3 cups of washing soda
¼ cup of Epsom salt
40 drops of essential oil or essential oil blends (optional)
Steps
Measure out your ingredients and set them aside.
Cut a block of soap into a reasonable portion for easy holding. Grate your bar soap into flakes on a chopping board.
Add the bar soap flakes, washing soda, borax and Epsom salt into a mixing bowl. Mix well.
Add your favorite essential oils to the blend.
Pour mixture into a clean Mason jar and close tightly with a lid.
Mild Liquid Detergent
Ingredients
5 cups of warm water
2 cups of distilled white vinegar
¼ cup of liquid dish soap
¼ cup of washing soda
¼ cup of borax
30 to 40 drops of essential oils (optional)
Steps
Pour borax, washing soda and liquid dish soap in a mixing bowl and whisk all these ingredients altogether.
Add your warm water to other ingredients and mix well.
Add your favorite essential oil or essential oil blends. Stir the mixture.
Pour in a big well-sanitized bottle and store in a refrigerator.
If you want to use, add two scoops per kg in a washing machine. Pour on stubborn stains before putting in a washing drum.
All-Natural Laundry Castile Soap
Ingredients
4 cups of distilled white vinegar
½ cup of a liquid Castile soap
½ cup of baking soda
½ cup of borax
Steps
Pour distilled white vinegar and liquid Castile soap in a mixing bowl and stir all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Add baking soda and borax into the mixing bowl and whisk them to get homogenous mixture.
Transfer your liquid laundry soap in your clean bottle.
Shake well before each use.


How to Use DIY Laundry Soap
Start by sorting your clothes based of fabric, weight and color. Read the symbols and instructions on labels on how to handle clothes.
Put your clothes in a drum.
Add your DIY laundry soap and DIY Fabric Softener in the drawer.
Follow the instructions of washing machine to run the wash cycle, rinse cycle and drying them.
You can hang dry them in the line during the sunny day or following instructions on a particular clothes.
Iron if the fabric is creased, according to the instructions on the clothes, old dry clothes and put them in a closet .
