Benefits of Using Natural Mouthwashes

This acidity environment can foster more bacterial growth and increase chances of dental caries and dental erosion overtime. Also growth of tartars and plaque become more common using mouthwashes can control and balance oral pH ensuring good oral health.

  • Prevent growth of plaque: Gargling water or mouthwash after meals can prevent occurrence of stubborn plaque and tartar that can damage teeth and gums. Using mouthwash can remove remaining food debris in the mouth a raw material microbes and other bacteria use to form plaque. Plaque can be dangerous since they cannot be removed by normal toothbrushing and foster a breeding environment for more bad bacteria for teeth.

  • Reduce chances of bleeding gums: Again, mouthwashes eliminate harmful bacteria that may damage gums, erode gum line and cause them to bleed.

  • Get rid of bad breath: Using mouthwashes reduces chance of bacteria that produce bad smell in the mouth. Many mouthwash formulations add pleasant ingredients that will ensure your mouth smell fresh.

  • Avoiding harmful ingredients: Making your natural mouthwash can help your teeth and gums and overall gut health be safe from dangerous preservatives and additives such as triclosan, artificial dyes, artificial fragrances and propyl glycol.
