Selecting Ingredients
Roman chamomile floral water: This floral water is known to be very gentle to sensitive skin due to its anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Chamomile floral water can reduce skin redness and discomforts from rashes and dryness. It is also a better ingredient to use around the eyes where skin is delicate and thinner.
Vegetable glycerin: It is a moisturizing ingredient that can help hydrate your skin. It is hypoallergenic and gentle to sensitive skin. It is a humectant that like chamomile floral water, can help soothe and calm sensitive skin thus a good option for your face toner.
Apple cider vinegar: It is another good ingredient that can replace alcohol and still make for good face toner. Apple cider vinegar can balance skin pH without leaving the skin dry and natural oils on the skin stripped. It is less irritative to the skin than alcohol in general.
Roman chamomile essential oil: It has anti-oxidant and anti-microbial properties. It can gently cleanse your face and improve a youthful looking skin. Adding this essential oil in the face toner recipe can make your skincare regimen more nutrient-fueled.
Rose essential oil: This is another good essential oil that can hydrate and tighten the skin when added to the formulation of the face toner. It can purify and clear sensitive skin without causing reactions.
